Point Blank Range, LLC

RANGE RULES

  1.  Any person or persons handling a firearm in an unsafe manner will be asked to leave the range and not return.
  2. Point Blank Range personnel will inspect all firearms and ammunition prior to them being allowed on the range.  Any firearm or ammunition that is deemed unsafe or prohibited from use on the range will be immediately removed from the range.
  3. All patrons wishing to shoot at Point Blank Range must present a valid FOID card each time you enter the range to shoot, or be accompanied by an adult with a valid FOID card.  Out of state residents must show proof of identification and age.
  4. All firearms must be unloaded and cased before entering the Point Blank Range premises.
  5. Shooters shall not, under any circumstances, go down-lane beyond the firing line.  If you need assistance because of an object such as a magazine, target, etc. has fallen past the firing line, call the Range Master.  If caught in front of the firing line you will be banned from the premises.
  6. Loaded firearms must be pointed downrange at all times.  Never point a loaded firearm sideways or turn around with the loaded firearm. Loaded firearms are permitted at the firing line ONLY.  NO EXCEPTIONS!
  7. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  8. While two people can rent a shooting lane, only one person at a time is allowed to shoot.  One person in the booth is allowed to handle a firearm at a time.
  9. No long guns may be propped against the booth walls or against any other wall.  All long guns must be laid flat on bench with muzzle pointing downrange.
  10. If the shooter has to leave the booth area temporarily, the firearm must be unloaded with actions open and muzzle pointed downrange.
  11. All injuries or damages must immediately be reported to the Point Blank Range Master.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!
  12. When the shooter is finished, all firearms must be unloaded and cased.  The firing line shall be policed (i.e. trash placed into containers, targets removed and placed into trash containers)
  13. Firing a shot that results in damage to any range equipment WILL result in a repair fee and removal from the range.
  14. All legal handguns up to 50 caliber are allowed.
  15. All legal rifles up to 300 Winchester Magnum are permitted.
  16. All legal shotguns, shooting slugs as well as shot ammunition, are permitted.
  17. Ammunition, including lead, steel jacketed, frangible, and copper plated are permitted.
  18. Armor penetrating, explosive, incendiary, and steel core are prohibited.
  19. Handguns, rifles and shotguns will be available for rental at Point Blank Range.
  20. All ammunition for firearm rentals must be purchased at Point Blank Range.
  21. Any person wishing to rent a gun must possess a valid FOID card and must be 18 years of age to rent a long gun and must be 21 years of age to rent a handgun.
  22. Shooters will be given choice of targets to purchase.  No shooter may bring in outside target.
  23. All Shooters must wear eye and ear protection.  Shooters may bring their own or rent equipment from Point Blank Range.
  24. If you experience a misfire or malfunction, keep the firearm pointed downrange and clear the firearm.  If you need assistance, ask the Range Master for assistance.
  25. Only shoot your assigned target.  NO CROSS LANE FIRING.  Always know what is beyond your target.
  26. If you hear the range command of CEASE FIRE, stop shooting immediately, place your firearm on the bench and step away from the firing line.
  27. Drinking, eating, smoking, or chewing of tobacco is prohibited in the firing range at all times.  No Exceptions.
  28. No cell phone usage, including texting or pictures is allowed in the range.
  29. If there is a chance you are pregnant, it is strongly suggested that you not participate in shooting activities.
  30. If you knowingly have any medical condition that may cause harm to yourself or others you should not participate in shooting activities.
  31. The use of alcohol and/or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited on Point Blank Range, LLC property.  Any person suspected of being intoxicated shall not be permitted on the property.

 
Point Blank Range reserves the right to refuse service to any and all persons or members at any time.
